3” valve on the left opens and closes in-between rinse, detergent and acid cycles, to make sure all rest solutions drain from 3” Lo-Lines.
We install these valves with a 1/2” ‘Stroke Limiter’ in the cylinder to keep the valve open just a tad to reliably wash the receiver inlet
2” Air Injector with filtered air in-take.

What Controls these Valves?
Any Pipe Line Washer via MAC Solenoid Valves.
Or with an ‘Air-Timer-in-a-Box’ - (see below) in an application where you’d manually start the valve and it shuts off automatically after a set amount of time, like in a deck flush system, for example.
Automatic Butterfly Valves (ABV) can be used in any number of applications:
- Drains
- Air Injectors
- Shut-Off Valves
- Substitutes for the common Long-Plug/Short Plug at the Receiver
- Control a Deck Flush System
- Or, by combining any two of them, as substitutes for three-way valves
- Replacement for (3) Germania two-way valves in a Automated BackFlush System (Replaces the 'Power Manifold')
Air-Timer-In-A-Box
Need to time a DeckFlush Valve? Or any other device operated by an air cylinder? This timer can do it. Adjustable from 3 seconds to 2 minutes. Basically this is the Model SB timing circuit, assembled with a PT-421 main valve, a PT-110 pilot, a 15-second adjustable timing chamber, a # 14 flow control and a fixed value air chamber of your choosing. Black air in, red and blue air out to the ABV you want to time. Push the button—ABV opens. Closes automatically a little later.
